A Few Links to Sites That Allow Students to Explore Geometric Transformations

As a byproduct of our MCAS explorations, and in particular, our foray into the Geometry strand, we had occasion to discuss and explore transformations which fall into four categories.
1. Translations (sliding an object in some direction).
2. Rotations (altering the orientation of an object by rotating it around some chosen point).
3. Reflection (drawing the mirror image of an object by reflecting it around a line of symmetry).
4. Dilation (shrinking or stretching an object while retaining its core properties. i.e. angle measures, proportionality of side lengths).
