Taking A Trip Down Memory Lane - Chapter 1

Is it possible to be allergic to the word 'review?' I say this partly in jest but partluy with sincerity. I've always had an aversion to the thought of plodding through a lifeless review of concepts taught over the course of a school year.

What we have before us is more along the lines of a long-term reflection. My interactions with students this year lead me to believe with a high level of confidence that we have successfully navigated an enormous amount of meaningful content. The challenge that presents itself to us is how to revisit these themes and concepts without just fanciful conversation about them. My belief is that we simply have to dive into representative problems from each lesson and let ourselves 'relive' these experiences firsthand.

I made the best argument I could today in class with the intention of promoting the gravity of your math final and hope that you also view the assessment as a measure of your own progress this school year.
