Results of Term 4 CLASS CHALLENGES 1 & 2

At the start of term 4, students were introduced to the concept of class identity and solidarity and one mechanism for promoting this idea was to implement some competition among homerooms. Every week, one or two academic challenges will be announced and bonus points made available for homerooms to earn.

For the week of March 9, the following two challenges were announced:

CHALLENGE #1: the homeroom who has the highest percentage of home nuggets turned in over the course of the week. (NOT the total number as each homeroom's numbers vary)

CHALLENGE #2: the homeroom who has the highest overall percentage on the test given on 3/13.

The results for week one are as follows:

CHALLENGE #1:
Room 242: 88%
Room 239: 93%
Room 216: 88%

CHALLENGE #2:
Room 242: 74%
Room 216: 72.6%
Room 239: 76.7%

Homeroom 239 sweeps both challenges. Each challenge is worth 1/2 a percentage point on the overall grade. As such, all grades for students in homeroom 239 have gone up a percentage point.
