The home nugget that was assigned today does not carry any particular number. Since 8th graders will be taking the ELA MCAS tomorrow and Wednesday, it is uncertain whether they will see me for math until the regular schedule resumes on Thursday. To make matters more complicated, there is no school on Friday.
In light of this, students were given directions to complete a guide-to chapter 8, comprised of four lessons instead of the usual five. The due date is Thursday April 1, 2010 when all students will see me again for certain. For your reference, the guide-to is counted as a 50 - point quiz grade and is a valuable resource for reflecting on content.
Students are also reminded to be mindful of upcoming assessments on both chapters 8 and 9 and to take necessary steps to prepare for these. i.e. work on class notes, review home nuggets.
